BNS går mod at blive en af sværvægterne i dansk byggeri
BNS er kommet godt fra start efter Martin Palmquist sidste år satte sig i direktørstolen. Stærke ansættelser og en ny struktur skaber fundamentet til at bidrage til bæredygtigt byggeri og skabe vækst. Det glæder arkitektfirmaet BIG.
Da Martin Palmquist satte sig i direktørstolen i sommeren 2021, var det med ét meget klart mål; At gøre BNS til én af Danmarks dygtigste entreprenører, der tager ansvar, holder ord og forsøger at bidrage til udviklingen af bæredygtigt byggeri, og medvirke til, at arkitektur, bæredygtighed, livskvalitet og skabervilje går hånd i hånd.

Her, ni måneder senere, er Palmquist og BNS kommet godt fra start med en stærk pipeline og berøringsflade i markedet og dermed er der skabt et fundament for vækst i de kommende år.
I begyndelsen af 2022 afslørede direktøren sine planer om at fastholde BNS' førerposition indenfor byggeri, hvor både det miljømæssige, økonomiske og sociale aspekt er i fokus. Samtidig er ambitionen at nå entreprenørens fulde vækstpotentiale ved at udvide repertoiret fra små og mellemstore boliger, skoler institutionsbyggerier, til også at konkurrere om de helt store byggesager, hvor Martin Palmquist gennem mange år har haft sin plads som en af markedets stærkeste spillere.
BNS har bl.a. oprustet på medarbejderfronten med ansættelsen af erfarne profiler indenfor tilbud og projektledelse med fokus på bæredygtighedscertificeret byggeri, og BNS' logo hænger igen på byggepladserne på flere spændende nybyggerier og renoveringsprojekter.
- Jeg har en klar målsætning om, at BNS skal være i liga med sværvægterne indenfor dansk byggeri. Men virksomhedens fundamentet skal være på plads inden vi for alvor sætter kurs i den retning. Derfor har fokus i første omgang været at konsolidere BNS i branchen på ny. Med fintunede kernekompetencer, flere stærke profiler på teamet og en solid profil som en entreprenør, der forsøger at tænke miljø, trivsel og genanvendelse ind i alt vi gør, er fundamentet nu på plads. BNS er nu tilbage for fuld styrke, og vi træder nu ind i næste fase, hvor vi for alvor starter vores vækstrejse over de kommende år, siger Martin Palmquist, adm. direktør i BNS.
BNS vil udfordre sig selv og bygherre med inkluderende byggerier
Martin Palmquist er kendt for sit mangeårige arbejde med at udvikle bæredygtige løsninger på byggebranchens udfordringer. Det er en vigtig del af virksomhedens DNA, som skal næres og udvikles yderligere i takt med, at BNS udvider forretningen.
Ambitionerne afspejler sig BNS' oprustning på lederfronten.
I de første måneder af 2022 har BNS nemlig budt velkommen til nye dygtige tilbuds- og projektfolk som stort set alle kommer med en baggrund i MT Højgaard og NCC, hvor Martin Palmquist selv har været toneangiven, og har stået for væsentlige komplekse byggeopgaver med bæredygtighedscertificeringerne DGNB og Svanemærket.
De nye medarbejderne er I stor stil tidligere ansatte under Martin Palmquist, og de har alle de nødvendige og stærke egenskaber som skal være med til at løfte BNS sammen med de øvrige dygtige medarbejdere I BNS.
- BNS har store ambitioner i forhold til vækst over de kommende år, men vores mål om også at bidrage til udviklingen af bæredygtigt byggeri er lige så ambitiøse. Certificeringer kommer til at være afgørende på denne rejse, men de kan ikke stå alene. Vi skal også turde udfordre os selv, de projekterende og bygherrerne med gode og inkluderende ideer, der innoverer vores byggeprojekter på flere parametre. Det kan vi gøre med de profiler, vi har på holdet, siger Martin Palmquist.
BIG glæder sig over BNS-comeback
BNS har især markeret sig indenfor boliger, skoler, institutionsbyggeri og renovering, hvor der skabes innovative løsninger, der bidrager til udviklingen af fritidsinstitutioner og læringsmiljøer for kommende generationer.
Gl. Hellerup Gymnasium
Som led i sin konsolideringsproces har BNS styrket sit udgangspunkt og afsæt på den nye rejse med bl.a. totalentreprisen på 64 nye, DGNB certificerede, ældreboliger på friplejehjemmet Magdalene Mariehjemmet og de står bag Skævinges nye Kultur-, Idræts- og Fritidshus, der binder hele byen sammen. I Urbanplanen på Amager opfører BNS også to nye fritids- og specialfritidsinstitutioner, foretager en helhedsrenovering af Solvang Bibliotek, sikrer det omkringliggende terræn og etablerer skybrudssikring samtidig med at vigtige naturområder sikres og tilføres nye berigende tiltag.
Martin Palmquist fortæller, at de nyskabende institutionsbyggerier fortsat skal være et af BNS' kerneområder, men for at realisere ambitionerne for fremtiden skal entreprenøren også byde ind på de helt store byggeopgaver indenfor kontor- og boligbyggeri.
En af dem, der glæder sig over BNS' comeback og ambitioner, er arkitektfirmaet Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG).
Både BIG og BNS har har udmærket sig ved at bruge arkitekturen til at skabe miljøer, hvor fællesskab, læring, intelligent ressourceforbrug og CO2-besparende løsninger er grundelementer. Derudover har BIG og BNS har også en fortid som samarbejdspartnere på renoveringen og ombygningen af Gl. Hellerup Gymnasium.
- Vi er glade for at se Martin Palmquist for enden af bordet i BNS, som vi ser, som en interessant samarbejdspartner, når det kommer til både nybyggeri såvel som innovative ombygninger og renoveringer I forlængelse af den grønne omstilling. Vores dagsorden om hedonistisk bæredygtighed; at den bæredygtige bygning eller by ikke kun er bedre for miljøet, men også kan tænkes og tegnes og bygges så den øger livskvaliteten for de mennesker der bebor den, matcher godt med BNS' og Martin Palmquist store erfaring med og fokus på bæredygtigt byggeri, siger arkitekt Bjarke Ingels.
